Bonhams Hong Kong Whisky sale achieved strong results with 89 percent of the 386 lots sold and two world auction records set, including Hanyu Ichiro’s Full Cards Series (52 cards + 2 jokers) that sold for HK$ 3,797,500, a new world auction record for any Japanese whisky series, and Karuizawa-1960-52 year old-The Cockerel that sold for HK$ 918,750, a new world auction record for any single bottle of Japanese whisky. Both lots went to a single buyer from South East Asia.
