Tyburn%20Gallery%20announces%20it%20will%20open%20in%20London%20on%2017%20September

Tyburn Gallery is a new gallery dedicated to international contemporary art and will open on 17 September in Marylebone, London. The Gallery exhibits, represents and champions established artists and younger talents from a global range of evolving art scenes, with Africa as a point of departure. The first exhibition will be an international group show curated by Kim Stern titled Broken English which includes artists such as Athi Patra-Ruga, Mohau Modisakeng, Edson Chagas and Joël Andrianomearisoa. Emma Menell, the Gallery’s Founder said: “Tyburn Gallery is at the forefront of African and international contemporary art. Our initial focus is on the African continent because that is where our heritage lies, but we are engaged in a dialogue with other dynamic and emerging art scenes.
