Tiancheng International Jewellery and Jadeite Spring Auction 2015 concluded with triumph tonight, realising nearly HK$300 million／US$38 million. With 85% of total value sold and 74% of lot sold, the sale is led by eight lots soaring above HK$10 million. The jadeite section and western jewellery section achieved an astonishing sold rate of 83.7% and 85.4% respectively. The top lot of the auction belongs to Lot 128 the impressive Jadeite and Diamond Demi-parure ( Estimate: HK$25-30 million／US$ 3.2-3.85 million). Bidding opened at HK$18 million, the refined demi-parure was hammered at HK$25 million, which eventually sold to a phone bidder for HK$29.5 million／US$3.78 million including the buyer’s premium.
