The Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art presents a snapshot of art being made in the state when ‘GOMA Q: Contemporary Queensland Art’ opened at GOMA from 11 July to 11 October 2015. QAGOMA Director Chris Saines said ‘GOMA Q’ would include 31 artists and collectives from across the state in the Gallery’s first broad survey of current contemporary Queensland art practice. ‘Realised through extensive research and studio visits, ‘GOMA Q’ captures a moment in time from our local art landscape.
