Several monumental Roots sculptures in steel and bronze by renowned Pennsylvania artist Steve Tobin have recently been planted on the grounds of the United States Botanical Gardens as part of the institutions new exhibition titled Exposed: The Secret Life of Roots. Situated on the USBG Terrace and front gardens, framing the White House Capitol building, the half dozen sculptures are from Tobins Steelroots and bronze Walking Roots series, and will be on view through winter of 2016. Included in the installation is a lyrical bronze pair of Walking Roots titled Romeo and Juliet, steel Dancing Roots and the enormous Steelroots that soars 40 high. The sculptures tie in with an indoor exhibit and provide a statement as visitors enter the Conservatory. Exposed: The Secret
