This week will see the release of a new publication 100 Masterpieces from the National Galleries of Scotland, a detailed and lavishly-illustrated overview of one of the finest collections of Western art in the world. Written by John Leighton, the Galleries Director-General, the book brings together some of the greatest and best-loved treasures from the Scottish National Gallery, the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
