MATE – Museo Mario Testino is showing “Geografía de la Diferencia”, a solo exhibition by the Peruvian artist Philippe Gruenberg, which opened to the public on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. Thanks to the partnership between the prestigious MATE and Delfina Foundation, Gruenberg participated in an artist residency program between July and September 2014 in the city of London. This new institutional alliance aims to promote cultural exchange between Peru and the United Kingdom, allowing a Peruvian artist to perform an annual residency at the Delfina Foundation and then present an exhibition at the Museum as a result of its investigation. Founded in 2007, the Delfina Foundation provides opportunities for curators, writers and artists to develop their practice, explore cultural connections, and make collaborations with colleagues, communities and institutions.
