The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum today announced that it is offering a new $100,000 reward for information leading directly to the recovery of the Napoleonic Finial stolen from the Museum along with 12 other works on the morning of March 18,1990. The Finial is one of the least recognizable of the 13 works stolen from the Museum, making it possible that it is in the possession of someone who is unaware that it is stolen. At the same time, it is highly distinctive, and therefore easy to identify as the Museums.
