The Columbus Museum of Art has promoted Tyler Cann to the position of Curator of Contemporary Art. Cann joined CMA in 2013 as the Museums Associate Curator of Contemporary Art. During his time at the Museum he has organized several exhibitions including In __ We Trust: Art and Money, a group show featuring 26 artists and collectives from diverse international backgrounds whose work addresses the nature of money and its complex relationship to art. Cann has guided the growth of the Museums contemporary art collection. CMA has recently added works by Jeppe Hein, Josiah McElheny, Trevor Paglen, and Susan Philipsz. As the Museum prepares to open its new wing in October, Cann is focused on the reinstallation of CMAs permanent and the inaugural special exhibitions that will be featured in the new space: Imperfections By Chance:
