Bonhams will be offering a large number of exquisite vintage wristwatches and pocket watches at the June 9 auction of Fine Watches and Wristwatches in New York. A magnificent 18K rose gold Patek Philippe wristwatch estimated at $100,000-150,000, leads the selection of rare pieces. The 1952 chronograph is in pristine condition and is accompanied by its original box and original Certificate of Origin. The hour and minute hands are made of gold with a luminous or “glow in the dark” fill, unique for this time period.
