The inaugural edition of Art Miami New York, a modern and contemporary art fair produced by the ownership team of Art Miami, came to a close on Sunday, May 17th, after premiering to a great response from galleries, collectors, visitors, and critics alike. From the first moments of the VIP Preview through the final hours of the last day, works were acquired or placed on hold by established and new private and corporate collectors, notable museum professionals, cultural foundation executives, dealers, art advisors, and consultants. The fair will return to Pier 94 May 12-15, 2016, under its newly branded name: Art New York presented by Art Miami.
